In December 1922, dressmaker Jemima Flowerday is commissioned to create gowns at Merry Beggars Hall, a manor with an unsolved murder mystery. Upon arrival, Jemima, an avid mystery solver, finds herself amidst a new unfolding crime when the household cook dies shortly after her arrival.
